History:Alex was born in Trinidad, one part of the two island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean.Trinidad being the larger of the two. It is a small country with a permanently warm climate.His parents, Andrew and Liara Smith, were both engineers and, when he was thirteen they both got jobs to work on an off-shore oil rig. Because of this they were away for three weeks at a time.During which Alex would stay by his aunt Mary. When he was fifteen, Alex decided that he wanted to leave Trinidad and go live away. There was only so much one could see and do in a country as small as his own, and so with his parents permission and freshly deepened pockets, he was enrolled in the Manson Academy, satisfying both his need for something new and his parents desire for him to have the best education possible.
